Our Board of Older Adults offer outings for seniors to places like the Boar’s Head Christmas Festival in St. Louis, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, IL and the Lutheran Heritage Center in Perry Missouri, as well as local trips and church events.

The Board of Fellowship offers fellowship opportunities throughout the year for individuals and families to interact and build each other up in Christ.

The Ladies Aid/LWML help to fund many scholarships and missions around the globe through their fundraising projects. LWML also meets monthly on Wednesday mornings for Bible Study and lunch.

The Men’s Club is the driving force behind the annual sausage supper that takes place in January of every year, and also assist with projects for those who need help in the congregation and community.

A dedicated group of woman make up our Quilters Group, which spends their time in fellowship creating beautiful quilts. Zion, along with other area Lutheran churches, also has a Braille Ministry, which serves by creating books for the visually impaired all over the world.

Through these groups and many others, Zion Lutheran Church and School strives to live our mission statement:
Zion Lutheran: God’s love works in and through His people!
