Bible Text: Romans 6:12–23 | Pastor: Pastor Kale Hanson | Series: Pentecost | As we gather this weekend, we reflect on how God’s word changes us. Paul asks us “Should we keep sinning so grace may increase?” He answers, “By no means!” In so doing, Paul makes an important point. We can easily twist theology and Scripture to make it say what we would like it to say rather than what God tells us. When we do, we make God in our image. But the pure truth of God’s word continually challenges us, facing us with hard truths about who we are and the beautiful reality of who God is and what he’s done.
