This weekend, as our confirmands are questioned and take vows before their family and their brothers and sisters in Christ, we also reflect on our beliefs, responsibilities and commitments as members of this congregation. Most of all, we reflect on the bond that is created between us when God’s only Son died, so that we could be members of his household, under our heavenly Father and participating in his grace together as brothers and sisters in Christ.
