Bible Text: Matt 6:5-15 | Pastor: Kale Hanson | Series: Lord’s Prayer | We continue on our journey through the Lord’s Prayer this morning. After calling upon God the Father and asking God that His name would be kept holy, Jesus leads us into two requests that sound quite similar, Thy kingdom come. Why will be done. In fact, it’s not just the sound. In both petitions, we acknowledge God as the ruler of heaven and earth and ask Him to make that truth a reality in our lives. And yet, we can only pray this honestly if we understand God to also be our Father who loves us and whose will is good.
