Bible Text: Matt 6:5-15 | Pastor: Vicar Benjamin Hayter | Series: Prayer | This weekend we continue our study of prayer, focusing on the prayer that Jesus taught us, the Lord’s Prayer. We zero in today on “hallowed be thy name.” There is so much that we can pull out of those simple four words. As we gather let us think of how we can “hallow” God’s name. We are his children and He has given His name to bear in this world. As any parent can attest, children do not always bring glory to the family name. All too often we bring shame to our heavenly Father’s name, but we pray in this petition that God would strengthen us to keep His name holy in our lives as well, that His name would have the honor it is due.
